Dine in Clear Lake for a Year fundraiser
The Rotary Club of Clear Lake is partnering with the Clear Lake Jaycees, Clear Lake Bank & Trust, to bring back the Dine in Clear Lake for a Year fundraiser.
The 2021 fundraiser raised over $5,000. These funds went back into the Clear Lake community with the Rotary Club applying funds to restore the piano used at E.B. Stillman auditorium for both Clear Lake Schools and Clear Lake Area Concert Association events. The remainder of the funds were distributed to area organizations to further their projects and needs.
So, what is the Dine in Clear Lake for a Year fundraiser? Rotarians and Jaycees have purchased $50 gift cards to Clear Lake and Ventura eateries. We are combining these gift cards into two bundles worth $1,200. Raffle tickets purchased will go into a drawing, and two winners will be drawn.
The purpose of the Dine in Clear Lake for a Year fundraiser is to boost the local economy by purchasing gift cards and certificates from Clear Lake and Ventura restaurants, many of whom were hit hard during the surge of the pandemic, and raise funds to give back to area organizations. All money raised is sent back into the community!
Sponsors for this year’s fundraiser include Kingland Systems, Dean Snyder Construction, CL Tel, Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Rahm Investments, Bonnie Hall of Hall Realty, ACE Hardware and Titan Pro.
Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Ticket sales begin Thursday, June 2. Tickets can be purchased at our booth during Thursdays on Main, at the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and from club Rotarians and Jaycees. Drawing will take place during the last Thursdays on Main at 8:30pm. Winners do not need to be present to win.
